Summer School 4

Summer School 4 on ‘’GC-MS/MS multi-mycotoxins methods for the analysis of cereals and derivate products’’ was held at the University of Valencia (Spain) between 18 and 22 July 2022. Five young researchers selected from various institutions in Turkey, as well as participants from TUBITAK and CNR-ISPA attended this summer school.

The summer school focused on transferring knowledge to young researchers on gas chromatography techniques and also new emerging techniques for mycotoxin analyses. Participants learned more about extraction methods of mycotoxins from the cereals and derivative products, GC-MS/MS working principal, and data analysis. With this training, the participants had the opportunity to develop their competencies in multi-mycotoxin analyses by GC-MS/MS techniques.
