Main objective of this work package is to exchange of knowledge among project partners through organizing of series of trainings, summer schools for especially TUBITAK early stage researchers and also stakeholders from Turkey, technical visits from TUBITAK to leading partners, external research institutes and related leading European and Turkish industries and expert visits from leading partners to TUBITAK. These activities will also improve networking of MycoTWIN partners by bringing participants and experts together from around the globe. Training process of all early stage researchers on new tools for management of mycotoxigenic fungi and mycotoxins is crucial for the future of research in the Mediterranean area as main area faced with mycotoxin problems.

The specific objectives are as follows:

  • to organize short-term on-site trainings in the leading partner institutions
  • to organize summer schools in the leading partner institutions
  • technical visit to leading partners, research centers/institutes and industries in EU and Turkey)
  • to exchange knowledge with on-site prospecting of TUBITAK’s facilities by CNR and UV

The main objective of this work package is to communicate and disseminate outcomes achieved in MycoTWIN through a number of activities such as developing website, producing leaflets, and organizing open and info days, workshops, seminars, and attending to scientific events.It is aimed to set up a system that allows transfer of information and deliverables of the project rapidly and effectively to relevant parties/stakeholders and user groups. This system will also help to achieve the communication and promotion of the project. Through the activities in this work package, the project and its findings will be promoted among targeted stakeholders such as scientists, researchers, stakeholders, as well as public, among others. All parties (in particular from Mediterranean Area) will have maximum awareness of MycoTWIN activities and outcomes.

 

The specific objectives are as follows:

  • to organise info-days for improving regional competitiveness in various regions of Turkey.
  • to develop MycoTWIN website for internal communication and external dissemination incorporating an interactive SME tool.
  • to promote awareness of new developments relating to mycotoxigenic fungi and mycotoxins through various output media such as leaflets, newsletters, press releases, scientific publications, social media (Facebook Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram) and through organisation of open-days, seminars, workshops.

The main objective of this WP3 is to strengthen cooperation among the project partners and formulate a scientific strategy for further researches in the field of mycotoxigenic fungi and mycotoxins. WP3 will also increase the chance of survival and prosperity of TUBITAK in this field and will strengthen the project management and administration skills of TUBITAK. For the sustainability of MycoTWIN, recommendations for research topics on this specific field will be identified both for the project lifetime and future activities through scientific strategic plans for TUBITAK and consortium of MycoTWIN. The activities in WP3 will also provide opportunities to create further collaborations among Mediterranean research institutions and stakeholders for future collaborative projects in particular for Mediterranean area.

The main objective of this work package is to coordinate the whole project management. The specific objectives are; to prepare plans of innovation management and protection of knowledge and data; to share the work among the project personnel; to manage the organisation of internal and external activities; to establish effective communication among the partners; to establish effective communication and harmony among WPs; to monitor objective achievements and deliverables; to participate management board/advisory board meetings and discuss the related issues; to monitor and measure the progress of work; to manage administrative and financial issues; to report all deliverables to EC.

The objective is to ensure compliance with the 'ethics requirements' set out in this work package.
